How To Perform Hopi Ear Candle Treatment

First of all you need to check that you (or the person you are giving the ear candle process too) are not suffering from any of the contraindications mentioned above in this report. NEVER give yourself an ear candle treatment. This is dangerous.
Also do NOT use hopi ear candles on children under the age of 6 years.

Then ensure that the person is lying on their side and is comfortable.

You will need the following items close to hand:
the candles obviously (you can get Biosun, Otosan and Indian Ear Candles HERE
a glass of water to extinguish the candle at the end of the treatment
matches or a lighter to light the candle
cotton buds to wipe away any residue or wax from the ear
tissues to protect the persons skin around the ear or you can get ear protectors which affix to the candles themselves HERE

Place the candle (with the safety mark nearest to the ear) gently into the ear and hold it between the index and middle fingers. Make sure that the person is comfortable. Remove the candle and light it well away from them. Place the candle back in their ear and ensure that they are still comfortable, holding it as described above.

Dont forget to keep a good seal around the base of the candle to enable the convection process to work effectively.

Allow the candle to burn down to the red safety line and then remove it and extinguish the candle in the glass of water you have available. NEVER allow the candle to burn down below the safety mark.

Check the persons ear for any residue or wax and wipe away with the cotton buds you have available.

Get the person to turn over onto their other side and repeat the process as with the first candle.

After you have finished, get the person to lie still for a few minutes before sitting up.
